The Unseen
The Unseen is another remarkable project by Eden Arts, designed to nurture imagination and create a vibrant community for those interested in faeries.
See it liveEden Arts approached me with an intriguing idea: a platform where people could share their sightings of faeries. Their vision was to create a digital space that would keep the magic of folklore alive by building a community around this fascinating entity. I was immediately excited about the project and eager to help bring it to life.
The goal was to develop a platform where users could share photos of their sightings, explore what others have shared, and engage in meaningful interactions with fellow enthusiasts.
Working closely with Gary Lawson, who crafted the brand identity, I began by designing the wireframe for the web application. This step was crucial for visualizing how all the different elements would come together to create an effortless user experience.
Once the wireframe was approved, I moved on to the web design, carefully following the brand guidelines Gary provided. The result is a modern, intuitive, and easy-to-use web application that beautifully captures the mystical essence of the project.
For the development phase, we chose to use Laravel, a framework known for its scalability, flexibility, and speed. This allowed us to incorporate features like interactive maps, user profiles, likes, comments, and a robust content management system.
The Unseen has successfully created a space where people can share their experiences, engage with a community of like-minded individuals, and keep the spirit of imagination and adventure alive. It's a platform that not only connects users but also helps rekindle that sense of wonder and magic we all carry from childhood.
